2026 Cycling Ulster ‘Best All Rounder’ (BAR) Time Trial Competition
Cycling Ulster will this year be using the following Time Trial events to calculate placings for the Best All Rounder (BAR) medal awards.
- Ernie Magwood Super Six R2 – 28th May 2026
- Ernie Magwood Super Six R5 – 2nd July 2026
- Ulster 25 mile TT Championship – 19th July 2026 (promoted by Donegal Bay CC)
- Ulster 10 mile TT Championship – 5th August 2026 (promoted by Ballymena Road Club)
In order to qualify for an Ulster BAR medal riders must as a minimum enter and complete one of either EMSS rounds and both of the Ulster 10 and Ulster 25 Championships.
If you suffer a post-start mishap in either EMSS round you can elect to omit that result and instead record the other EMSS result with two mandatory Ulster TT races
Average times will be calculated from the EMSS events, The Ulster 10 and Ulster 25, and a combined BAR time calculated from these results.
This will allow us to place you in your Age Category for medals to be awarded at the Cycling Ulster Celebration Evening at a date to be announced.
