Membership Requirement
To take part in Time Trials, riders must hold a Cycling Ireland Limited Competition licence (or higher) to ensure appropriate insurance cover.
If you’re unsure about upgrading, you can still take part in one round by paying a £9 event licence fee, in addition to the standard entry fee.
This fee can then be discounted if you decide to upgrade- please contact me to arrange this. Limited Competition membership allows you to attend any TT in Ireland.

What You’ll Need
One of the best things about getting started with Time Trials is that you don’t need a lot of specialist gear. Here’s what you’ll need:
• A road bike – Only standard road bikes are permitted. No time trial bikes, triathlon bikes, or aero extensions.
• No aero bars – These are not allowed in this category, keeping things safe and consistent for everyone.
• A helmet – Must be worn at all times when riding.
• A working rear light – A red rear light must be fitted, clearly visible, and switched on during your ride.
• A drink bottle – Optional, but useful to stay comfortable and hydrated.
