Ulster championship medals are up for grabs this weekend as Ballymoney CC host the Ulster 100 miles time trial championship on Sunday. Prior to that, Phoenix CC will promote the Bobby Crilly Classic on Saturday. More details on these events below.

Bobby Crilly Classic – Saturday 9th June

The course will be the same as last year with the iconic Divis mountaintop finish. However, as with last year due to a course alteration over safety fears we can only run 2 concurrent races on the day.

Therefore we have decided to run a combined A2/3 race and an A4 race. There will be no race for A1s this year.

Details of the races are:

1. The A2/3 race will be six laps of the circuit (which will be familiar to anyone who has rode the Phoenix GP) then up the climb, approximately 59 miles.

2. The A4 race will be three laps of the circuit then up the climb, approximately 42 miles.

Prizes will be awarded down to fifth place and there will be a woman’s prize in each race as well as a prize for the highest unplaced A3 in the A2/3 race.

The key details are:

£15 for senior riders and £10 for juniors – Entry online on CI website

Entry fee on the day is £20, £10 for juniors, subject to spaces being available. No refunds to riders withdrawing will be issued.
