Sunday 25th August is designated as provincial road race championship day throughout Ireland. The races for the Ulster championship medals and titles is being hosted by Ballymena Road Club.

There are also many leisure events taking place in the province this weekend, more details can be seen below.

Ulster Road Race Championships
Ballymena Road Club host the Ulster Road Race championships on Sunday. The Elite Men’s race is scheduled for 67miles while the Elite Women’s race will complete 40 miles. There are also races planned for Junior men and women and three masters categories.

Tour de Foyle
Foyle CC’s energy and commitment to event promotion continues on Saturday with the sixth edition of the 80km loop around Lough Foyle starting at St Columb’s Park.

The annual Kildarragh MTB Challenge is also the fourth round of the Donegal MTB series with 30km and 60km route options available for leisure riders.
