Chain Reaction Cycles’ Whitepark facility is already a hub of biking expertise, but will soon expand its capabilities as it launches a new search for talented technicians and warehouse employees.
The workshop and warehouse on the Ballycorr Road outside Ballyclare initially sprang into life in 2010 to process the quickly accelerating number of customer bike orders.
Fast forward eight years, and under the new WiggleCRC banner, the facility is set for a new flurry of activity.
As the group continues to quickly evolve and expand, the Whitepark warehouse is ramping up its volume throughout 2018, and with it, its teams of dedicated employees.
Site Operations Manager Peter Marshall joined the company just under six years ago. Speaking about the need for new talent at the facility he said: “We have had fantastic investment on the site over the past 12 months from the new team of directors within the group. This extra commitment means we’ll shortly be opening new employee facilities to enhance the experience of our teams on the site.
“We are also excited at the opportunity to grow the team and are now actively looking for new workshop technicians to join the experienced employees who enjoy building and inspecting thousands of amazing bikes each week for our global customer base.
“There are also support positions within the warehouse, such as goods in and dispatch roles which will ensure we maintain our high quality of output for our customers.”
Peter added he is very keen to hear from those who feel they can add value to the Whitepark team, and also hopes to hear from genuine bike enthusiasts out there who are keen to jump on board.
“We are excited to learn more about you and share what we could offer you in a career,” he said.
The company is steadfastly committed to its ethos of growing and further developing local talent, including the large and highly-skilled team already in place at its recently-opened, ultra-modern commercial offices in Mallusk.
The additional positions will mean the local workforce will grow to over 250.
