Cycling Ulster Women’s Commission are pleased to invite our clubs to be part of Women on Wheels 2020. Last year 10 clubs took part, 126 women registered and we had a 50% membership uptake at the end of the programme.

This year we have worked with Cycling Ireland to offer a special WOW Leisure membership from the outset, allowing your clubs more freedom for training and (hopefully) a stronger recruitment.

Clubs who take part this year will be offered a Sported Workshop on Engagement of women and girls, Ride Leader Training and Foundation Coaching Training.

Clubs are expected to provide a training group to take the beginners through to being able to integrate in club rides and complete some sportive’s along the way.

Women on Wheels 2020 will launch on 8th March (International Women’s Day).

If your club is interested in taking part in WOW please register via the Survey Monkey link here before 28th Feb.

If your club would be interested in being part of a pilot WOW BMX/Off Road programme please also get in touch with Gary Lavery (gary.lavery@cyclingireland.ie) or Claire Young (secretary@cyclingulster.com).
