On the back of our announcement that we are partnering with BGN Sports Management to deliver
the iconic Victus Tour of Ulster, we are excited to make a further announcement that the Victus Tour
of Ulster will be Ireland’s first carbon neutral road race.

“We believe that becoming carbon neutral in 2023 and reducing our emissions is the right
ambition to have and is very much in keeping with the development of TITAN’s wider
strategy. While this will be our first Carbon Neutral event, we will be championing this on
behalf of all our clients and partners. It’s our priority to walk the talk in our commitment to
reduce our carbon footprint and make a positive impact while pushing our industry to do
more about its environmental footprint.”

Eoin Conroy, CEO, TITAN Experience

We at TITAN want to show our company’s commitment to decarbonisation and our desire to
compensate for left-over impacts, and our journey to carbon neutrality starts now. Our vision is to
work toward a more sustainable and regenerative way of delivering events, and this vision is the
foundation and guiding principle for future projects.

Victus is latinLatin for ‘nourishment’, and ‘that which sustains life’ – and this reflects the
vision we have to grow positively our business, the projects and partners we have. That has
merged wonderfully with the BGN and TITAN teams over the years, and we can’t wait for
more to come on the Victus Tour of Ulster – particularly as we work collectively to bring
green credentials to this and other sporting events.

– Neil O’Brien, CEO, Victus Energy

An important part of this journey is our relationship with Victus Energy. Working in partnership with
them on the Tour of Ulster and with their carbon neutral and carbon negative projects, we know
that the Tour of Ulster will not only be a success but become the blueprint for cycling events on this
island.

The Victus Tour of Ulster is one of the premier events on the Cycling Ireland calendar. Their
ambition to become the first carbon-neutral cycling event in Ireland is very welcome and
underlines their innovative and progressive approach.

“Cycling can play a key role in helping achieve the Government & Corporate Ireland’s Climate
Action Plan target of reducing emissions by 51% by 2030. Many events, communities and
businesses are looking to play their part in reducing carbon emissions.”
Scott Graham, Operations Manager, Cycling Ireland

This is a very exciting opportunity given our track record of commercially and operationally scaling
some of the most iconic Mass Participation and Lifestyle Events over the past decade including The
Samsung Night Run, IRONMAN 70.3 and more recently National Fitness Games UK and Ireland. This
strategic move into the national competition cycling arena was the next natural step in adding to a
portfolio that already includes The Great Dublin Bike Ride, The Cyclo-Cross World Cup and a range of
corporate client cycling events.

The Tour of Ulster is a national event cycle race that takes place on May Day Bank Holiday weekend,
and for decade’s one of the monuments of cycling on the island of Ireland. The event has retained
Victus Energy as the title partner and has moved to a new home in County Cavan for 2023. Featuring
a mix of elevation changes, this challenging race takes riders through some of the most beautiful and
challenging terrain in Ulster whilst attracting the top riders from around Europe.
