Newry Wheelers will be promoting the 31st edition of the Newry 3 day on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
A spokesperson for the club said:
“The race will have the Canal Court sponsoring the yellow jersey and PKF-FPM the king of the hills. It’s great to have Spin 11 sponsor the green points jersey and Killowen Contracts the young riders competition. Stage sponsors include Cycling Ulster which will sponsor stage 2 which sees the riders tackle a tough 80 miles in the Mournes. Plumbmaster are on board to sponsor stage 3 which takes the riders around the rolling roads of Armagh and Mount Norris with the finish in Bessbrook.”
Stage 1 Friday 22 June – 40 Mile with 1 Cat 1 KOH
Stage 2 Saturday 23 June – 80 mile with 4 KOH
Stage 3 Sunday 24 June – 70 mile with 4 KOH

Race is limited to 80 riders so all teams will not get a place. Teams are encouraged to have strong riders in their teams and teams with A2 riders will get preference. Composite teams are allowed.
Clubs are limited to 4 riders in the race
Race open to A2 and A3 riders and M40 riders (A1)
Entries are not first come first served. A start list will NOT be shown until shortly after entries close. This is because we expect to be oversubscribed on the PSNI allowance of 80 riders.
Payments are not taken at time of registration. Payment will be taken once your position has been confirmed in the selection, via email to the Team Manager. Invitations will be sent when the event closes
Entries will close on Friday 18th May. No entries will be accepted after this date.
