The Cycling Ulster Road Commission is delivering two dedicated sessions of youth rider development at the Railway Karting Track, designed to help young cyclists build confidence, improve skills, and progress in a safe and structured environment.
Cycling development starts away from traffic- on greenways, in parks, and in controlled spaces where riders can focus on control, balance, and enjoyment. This programme continues that approach by bringing riders into a fully closed circuit environment for focused coaching and practice.
Open to riders from balance bikes through to Under 14, the sessions are designed to meet riders at their level. Activities will include fundamental bike handling skills, cornering technique, group riding awareness, and introductory race skills.
Delivered by experienced coaches, each session will combine structured learning with fun, engaging activities that help riders develop both confidence and competence on the bike.
Whether your child is new to cycling or already involved in racing, this is an excellent opportunity to progress their skills in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.
