The Cycling Ulster Road Commission will start the roll out of the Cycling Ulster Road racing plan for 2024 with several Training / Meet and Greet days.  The first of these days will take place at the Mourne County Hotel Newry on Sunday the 11th of February.  This training day will cater for Youth riders (U12-U16 Boys & Girls) who are interested in road racing in 2024.

We would ask that you express your interest in attending this day by completing the attached document and returning it to Gemma McNamara; gemma.mcnamara@cyclingireland.ie

 Expression of interest form

The form is aimed at collecting as much information as possible on the group of riders we currently have within Ulster and will be stored by Cycling Ulster and added to as the process takes shape.  This form will be confidential and handled accordingly.

If you have any questions on the document or its contents, please contact Frank Campbell.

We are keen to have as many riders as possible and their parents attend this day as it will give the commission members a chance to meet and engage with everyone away from competition. The Commission will lay out our Plan for 2024 and beyond, as well as the Cycling Ulster vision on developing youth numbers in the coming years.  All you need is to have an interest in youth cycling and racing to come along and meet up with everyone.  This is the start of a new project which will only progress with the input from as many riders as possible.  We want to hear your voice; we are all in this for the greater good of youth cycling in Ulster and the kid’s enjoyment and futures are the most important elements of this exciting new vision & plan.

We would also invite anyone with or without children racing to get involved in this exciting new project and join what I feel is the most experienced & talented commission team in Ireland.
