Thanks to the success of the Womenโ€™s New to TT League, more women than ever have been introduced to Time Trialling, and theyโ€™re loving it.
ย
Cycling Ulster is proud to announce the following Women’s categories at this yearโ€™s Ulster Time Trial Championships- Junior/Senior/ WM40/WM50/WM60 and WM70.
This important step recognises the incredible growth in participation and addresses long-standing disparities in competitive categories between men and women.
ย
The Cycling Ulster Executive would like to thank the Womenโ€™s Commission for their continued work in encouraging more women into the discipline, both on the road and behind the scenes.
ย
Cycling Ulster Chairperson Paul Sanders shared:
“This is a real opportunity to grow time trialling further in 2026.
We look forward to the Womenโ€™s Commissionโ€™s continued input and ideas on how we can support more women into competition across all disciplines and Cycling Ulster commission.”
