The Cycling Ulster Women’s Commission have announced plans for festival of women’s cycling which will take place on 15th October.

A representative of the Women’s Commission said:

“We have been really busy behind the scenes working on an exciting project for the end of the summer and are excited to announce that on Saturday 15th October we will be hosting the first ever Festival of Women’s Cycling in Ulster.

“Our ‘Big Day Out’ is not to be missed so save the date and keep an eye on our social pages for the official launch in July.

“Places will be limited and you will not want to miss out on a fantastic programme planned for roadies and shredders alike in the wonderful Mourne Mountain area.

“This will be an opportunity to ride new routes, hone your skills, learn new ones, chat with guest riders and make new friends, all while supporting the fantastic World Bicycle Relief charity.”

Bikes, buns and banter, what’s not to like?
