The Cycling Ulster Executive would like to extend a huge thank you to Dunloy CC for hosting the Ulster Championship Road Race on Sunday 31st August. It was fantastic to see this classic course back in action, providing riders with a true championship challenge.

A long-lap course like this requires a huge team effort. Unlike shorter circuits, it demands many more marshals and volunteers positioned throughout the route to ensure the safety of the riders and the smooth running of the race. Seeing so many people dedicate their time and energy to this effort is what makes these events possible and allows riders to focus on giving their best on the road.

From marshals managing junctions, to volunteers supporting registration and finish-line operations, to commissaires overseeing the race and organisers coordinating every detail, the day was a true team effort. Your commitment and dedication behind the scenes do not go unnoticed, Ulster racing wouldn’t be what it is without you.

We also want to congratulate all the riders who lined up and gave it their all. Whether battling for the podium or striving for a personal best, your determination and sportsmanship made today an exciting and memorable championship.

Thank you again to Dunloy CC, the marshals, volunteers, officials, and everyone who played a part in making this event a success.
