The Ulster Championship Criterium is being hosted by Ards Cycling Club on 18th June.

18th June 2025 sees the return of the Ards Crit Races to the centre of Newtownards, thanks to a generous grant from Ards and North Down Borough Council, and support from Formation Works Newtownards.
We have planned a busy evening of racing for all categories starting from around 6 pm. This year, we are pleased to be hosting the Ulster Crit Championships as part of our races.
These evenings have proved popular in the past and we’re looking forward to a great evening’s racing.
Provisional race programme is as follows:
18:00 Family event – laps on the closed town centre roads – register on the night
Youth races (for those with CI race licenses):
18:25 U8 (2 laps), U10 & U12 (4 laps)
18:45 U14 & U16 (8 laps)
Followed by:
19:00 C3 and LC
20:00 C2 and C1
Juniors and Women will be included with the relevant category above
21:15 roads reopen
Entries close at 8pm Monday 16th June.
