We are excited to introduce Northern Irelandโ€™s new Mountain Bike Maintenance Scheme, an initiative developed and funded by Outscape, the organisation behind MountainBikeNI, Cycling Ulster and The Outdoor Partnership in collaboration with land managers. It is also supported by the UK Trails Project: https://dmbins.com/uk-trails-project/

The trails involved in the Scheme are Davagh Forest MTB Trails (managed by Mid Ulster District Council), Castlewellan and Rostrevor MTB Trails (maintained by Mourne Heritage Trust), Barnett Demesne MTB Trails (managed by Belfast City Council), Garvagh Forest MTB Trails (managed by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council), Gosford Forest MTB Trails (managed by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council) and Gortin Glens MTB Trails (managed by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council).

In addition to the improved relationships between riders and land managers, the Scheme is intended to improve the user experience of riding on all of the official trail centres in Northern Ireland.
