Join us for an exciting Ulster Development Day on October 19th at the Jim Watt Leisure Centre in Garvagh, designed to support the growth and development of young cyclists through a mix of road riding and off-road skills activities tailored to different age groups.

  • U12s and U14s will take part in an off-road skills session in Garvagh Forest, focusing on essential cycling techniques to help improve riders development and gauge the skill level of riders.
  • For U16s, U18s, and U23s, the day will include road rides, with groups split based on ability and development needs. Each group will cover distances suited to their level, ensuring the training is both challenging and appropriate, helping them improve their skills and prepare for upcoming competitions.

This Development Day is a fantastic opportunity for riders of all levels to build confidence, enhance their skills, and connect with fellow cyclists and coaches from across the region. The focus will be on development, collaboration, and planning for the upcoming season, rather than solely on performance. It’s a great chance to come together as a regional community, setting the foundation for a successful year ahead.

Development Days will evolve throughout the winter to adapt to the needs and interests of the region. By focusing on development above all, we will ensure that each session is tailored to support the growth of both riders and coaches, creating a program that benefits everyone involved.
