What a night of exciting racing in Banbridge on Friday 10th May 2024.
The National Crit Championships, incorporating the Ulster Championship took place on a 1km circuit in the town centre.
If you’ve never been to a Crit-it’s fast!
The wind rush and sound of the riders whizzing past you is phenomenal.
50 minutes of racing plus 3 laps to a sprint finish.

Well done to Race Director Aaron Wallace and the Banbridge Cycling Club team.
Making these events happen is no easy feat, from road closures to organising chip butties for the troops.
The circuit was well marshalled and the sign on team had the most welcoming smiles.
Thanks to the Commissaires, photographers, MC-who kept us up to date with lap times and all volunteers who made the night run smoothly.
The talent out there last night was amazing!
