Congratulations to Cycling Ulster’s Aidan Higgins and Aaron Wallace on their recent successful qualification to become UCI Road Elite National Commissaires.
The qualification follows an intense 4 day training course and examinations which both lads attended recently at British Cycling headquarters in Manchester under the guidance of UCI International Commissaire Martijn Swinkels of Holland. Also on the course were fellow National Commissaires from Britain, Kazakhstan and Croatia.
Both Aidan and Aaron are well known Cycling Ireland National Commisssaires within Ulster, and indeed the other provinces. No doubt the experience they have both gained will also be of benefit to their Commissairing colleagues and Race Orgainsers within Ulster, and follows on from the recent announcement of a number of newly qualified National Grade B Commissaires in Ulster.
