Saturday 20th July saw the Irish National Youth Track Championships take place at the Tommy Givan velodrome at Orangefield in Belfast.
Young riders from across Ireland were greeted with fine weather for a full day of racing which involved riders from Under 12 to Under 16.
Despite clashes with other events, including the National Mountain Bike XC Championship weekend in Cork, the turnout was good with some close racing throughout the day.
Stand-out performances on the day included Aine Reilly (Scott-Orwell CC, U12), Maia Simmons (The Bike House CC, U16) and Rowan Montgomery (Ballymoney CC, U16) each of whom took a clean sweep of titles across the three events; Sprint, Time Trial and Scratch race.
