Cycling Ulster launches its first ever magazine

Cycling Ulster is delighted to launch the first edition of the Cycling Ulster Magazine, bringing together stories, achievements and updates from across the cycling community in one place.

The inaugural edition features exclusive catch-ups with Seth Dunwoody and Erin Creighton, a look ahead to the upcoming cyclo-cross season, and a selection of stories celebrating the people, clubs and events that continue to shape cycling across Ulster.

The magazine has been created to showcase the breadth of activity taking place throughout the province and to provide members with a regular publication highlighting the people, programmes and partnerships driving the sport forward.

Cycling Ulster Chair, Claire Young, welcomed the launch, saying:

“It has been an exciting spring and summer across Cycling Ulster, with events, programmes and club activity taking place right across the province. It has been fantastic to see riders of all ages and abilities enjoying their cycling, supported by the dedication of our clubs, volunteers and coaches.

“While there is still much work to do, our focus remains on supporting clubs, developing riders and creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy cycling. We hope this magazine celebrates the people who make that possible and gives members a chance to see the breadth of activity happening across Ulster.”

This first edition marks the beginning of what we hope will become a regular quarterly publication. With so many disciplines, events and inspiring stories taking place across Ulster, it isn’t possible to feature everything in a single edition. Instead, each issue will shine a spotlight on different areas of the sport, ensuring that over time we celebrate all disciplines of our cycling community.

We’d love to hear what you’d like to see in future editions. Whether it’s club stories, rider profiles, event coverage or behind-the-scenes features, your feedback will help shape the magazine as it continues to grow.

Cycling Ulster would like to extend a sincere thank you to our Press Release Officer, Donna Smith of That Wee Edge, whose creativity, dedication and countless hours brought this inaugural publication to life.
We would also like to thank the many photographers who generously contributed their images, helping capture the colour, passion and diversity of cycling across the province.
