The Ulster Cyclo-cross series begins as Apollo CT host the opening round in Lurgan Park on Sunday. Roe Valley CC promote the 2019 Ulster Hill Climb Championships and this.

Tour of the Legends – ‘Remembering Noel’, Saturday 5th October

This sportive will leave Dunloy at 9am on Saturday 5th October and follow a 52 route through Ballymoney, Coleraine, Portstewart, Portrush, Bushmills and Ballintoy before heading inland to ride through the world famous ‘Dark Hedges’ where you will return to Dunloy. This is a marvellous opportunity to see the Antrim Coast Road at its very best! More info here

The Granite Challenge, Sunday 6th October

This 55 miles leisure cycle starts at New Horizons Downpatrick with registration from 8am.

There will be a breakfast, tea stop and lunch will be provided for all participants.

The cycle starts in the cathedral town of Downpatrick, cycling via Tyrella towards Dundrum, along the coast road through the seaside town of Newcastle towards Annalong. Then it’s up into the Mourne Mountains passing Spelga Dam and then it’s downhill towards home, through Bryansford, Maghera and Clough. More info here

Ulster Hill Climb Championship, Sunday 6th October

Roe Valley CC are proud to host the 2019 Ulster Hill Climb Championship.

THIS EVENT IS PRE-ENTRY ONLY!


This will be held on the Tircreven Rd outside Limavady on the Binevenagh Mountain, this climb it’s 1mile long with an avg gradient of 14% and a max of 24% so why not come and try your luck against some of Ulster’s finest!

Sign on, prize giving and refreshments all at Magilligan GAC where medals for all categories will be presented to Elite, Jnr, M40, M50, M60 and Women’s.
