The Hilltown GP, Emyvale GP and round three of the Ulster XC series take place this weekend.

Emyvale CC promote their annual open race, the ‘Emyvale Grand Prix’ on Sunday 20th May. This year will see the club use a new route, including parts used in the 2011 All Ireland Road Race Championship.

There is a full day of racing on offer beginning with the youth events in the morning.

Women’s and Masters races are also on the schedule, the women’s race forms part of the Cycling Ulster league and the Cycling Ireland Intermediate league with the Masters event also part of the Cycling Ulster league.

Youth racing will get underway at 10am with the senior events beginning at 1pm.

Senior racing will cover a 15 mile loop with the A1/2 race completing 5 laps, A3 4 laps, A4 3 laps and the Women/Masters races doing 2 laps.

Sign-on is located at T Martin fuels on the Ballybay road out of Monaghan town.
