Fullerton is also Cycling Ulster Secretary and speaking ahead of the championships said:

“I look forward to welcoming Ulster’s top riders across the various categories to Donegal on Sunday. It promises to be a fantastic day of competition and with Ulster titles and medals up for grabs, I am hoping the event will be well supported from throughout the province. The event comes just a fortnight before the All Ireland senior A3 men and masters road race championships so it will serve as great preparation for that.”
