Shenna McKiverigan (Powerhouse Sport) was the star of  National Junior Track Championships in Dublin on Saturday 23rd April, completing a clean sweep of Gold medals in the 4-event Women`s Programme and bettering the National Record for the Flying 200metre Time Trial Sprint Qualifying event.

This is a magnificent achievement for the Gilford teenager; and added to her tally of three Golds in last year`s Championships, brings her total to 7 National Junior Track Titles. It is not thought than any other Junior rider can match this total in their 2-year window of Junior competition.

Ulster riders dominated the boys events too, also taking a clean sweep of Gold medals, with two for Cavan`s Luke Smyth (Nicolas Roche Performance team) in the Scratch and Kilometre Time Trial and Titles for Xeno Young (Powerhouse Sport) in the Pursuit and Harvey Barnes (East Tyrone) in the Sprint.

Other Ulster medals included Shauna McFadden (Silver Scratch), Xeno Young (Silver Sprint, Bronze Kilo), Luke Smith (Bronze Sprint, Silver Pursuit) and Marc Heaney (Nicolas Roche performance team) (Silver Scratch)
