Cycling Ireland are seeking expressions of interest from Ulster clubs who would like to promote the 2019 Irish time trial and road race championships (Junior Men/Women & Senior Men/Women).
While promoting the blue riband events of Irish cycling is a major undertaking, the Cycling Ulster Executive are keen to ensure that an Ulster promoter is found for the 2019 edition of these events. Chairman of Cycling Ulster, Maurice McAllister said “This opportunity only happens once every four years, in line with the rotation of the national championships around the provinces. The 2017 championships were organised by a number of clubs in Wexford and the same could be done in Ulster. Cycling Ulster will also be willing to meet with any clubs and see if we can support them with their hosting of the championships.”
