North Down Cycling Club

40th ANNIVERSARY – GALA DINNER

Saturday 18th November  2017
An Invitation to

North Down Cycling Club is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year. Formed in 1977 this progressive club has promoted every aspect of cycling with professionalism and zeal. Over the decades it has produced international athletes and Irish Champions as well as catering for recreational cycling and developing youth riders. In doing so it has grown into one of the largest and best respected clubs in the country.

In some respects, 2017 has been a very difficult year for the club, with the tragic death of Committee member and North Down Grand Prix organiser, Gavin Moore, but everyone is determined to end the year on a high. No doubt many, from near and far, will want to join the club in their celebrations of this milestone year.

The Gala Dinner will be held in Clandeboye Lodge, Bangor on Saturday 18th November (starting at 7.00pm). The dress code will be smart casual and tickets (which are subsidized) cost £30. This includes a champagne reception, a 4-course meal, live entertainment and the guest speaker is cycling commentator, Dr Michael Hutchinson (Cycling Weekly). Tickets can be purchased by contacting Kieran Beattie – kieran.beattie98@icloud.com – but you’ll need to hurry, over 200 have already been sold.
