Stormont’s Department for Infrastructure recently launched two consultations and Cycling Ulster are keen to engage with our members to respond collectively to both consultations and make sure our cycling voices are heard.

The two consultations are the ‘proposed content of the new road safety strategy for Northern Ireland 2030‘ and ‘to consider making careless driving a fixed penalty notice offence‘ which also includes the introduction of Operation SNAP, a platform that will enable you to upload video footage of careless driving, for example, close passes.

Cycling Ulster are hosting three online workshops and would like to invite you to come along and tell us what you think.

The workshops will take place via zoom on on Wednesday 5th January (13:00), Thursday 6th January (20:00) and Saturday 8th January (10:00). Please click here to register for one of these sessions.

You can respond individually as well as attend a workshop.
