The Cycling Ulster Road Commission are pleased to announce that a team will be taking part in the L’Estivale Bretonne stage race in France from 4th to 7th August. The team includes recently crowned Irish criterium and Ulster road race champion, Marc Potts (Neon Velo), Irish U23 international, Angus Fyffe (Omagh Wheelers), Craig Rea (Phoenix CC) and three Ulster riders currently based in France with the Amicale Cycliste Bisontine team, James Curry, Cameron McIntyre and Ryan Reilly.

Speaking on the announcement of the team, Cycling Ulster Executive Rep to the Road Commission, Tommy McCague said “When we received an invitation to take part in the race, we saw it as a great opportunity for our riders to gain experience representing the province in an international event while also enabling us to build on a good performance from our team in the Rás.” The team will be managed by three times Irish Olympian, David McCann alongside Peter McBride who guided the Cycling Ulster team to two stage wins in the recent Junior Tour of Ireland.
