KINGS MOSS CC CELEBATRE THEIR 95th YEAR ANNIVERSARY
On behalf of Cycling Ulster, as our chairman, I would like to congratulate Kings Moss CC on reaching this very impressive milestone in their 95 year history.
From my own memories in cycling, it is with a fondness and a smile that I can recall Kings Moss men like, Joe Hadden, Millar Wright, Joe Cook, John and Billy McKeown.
Back in the 70’s/80’s Kings Moss CC would start the season with a circuit TT from their meeting place of Whitleys Tavern, this was always seen as the beginning of the race season. starting after the railway crossing and finishing through the village of Ballyrobert.
Kings Moss CC has a rich history of collecting and supporting events promoted for good causes, raising thousands of pounds for these worthy charities.
