Belfast BMX Club coach Jonathan Reid was recently awarded the Sport NI ‘Children’s Coach of the Year’ award by Sport NI as part of the Sport Maker Awards NI 2019.
Jonathan has been involved as a volunteer with Belfast City BMX Club since 2014. He was instrumental in developing the BMX Fundamentals Programme for BMX Ireland and has led the way in bringing several BMX clubs in the province together to offer a combined coaching programme.
Cycling Ulster would also like to congratulate Jonathan on his achievement and for his continuing contribution to the development of BMX.
