Irish Team for Revolution 5 Announced
Cycling Ireland’s Track Commission announced today a four - man team to compete at Revolution 5, which is being held at Manchester Velodrome on Saturday 23rd Oct 2004.
The team includes
Peter Dunne (Navan Avonmore)
Ray Clarke (Worldwide Cycles)
Michael Concannon (Killorglin CC)
Maurice O’ Brien (Kanturk CC)
Team Manager – Brian Nugent
Team Mechanic – Will Byrne
Peter Dunne and Ray Clarke will compete in the Elite sprint series while Michael Concannon and Maurice O’ Brien will both compete in the Elite endurance events.
The team selected for the series has a blend of youth and experience seeing the young riders lining out against the stars returning from the Olympic Games.
Once again Cycling Ulster's Track Officer, Brian Nugent has been selected as Team Manager for the event. This is testament to the hard work which Brian has put into the Track, north and south over the past few years. Cycling Ulster wish Brian and his team every success in the forthcoming Series.
