Nugent Endurance Coach for European Track Champs

Cycling Ulster's Track Officer, Brian Nugent, will be the Endurance Coach and team manager for the Team Ireland squad at the upcoming European Track Championships in Valencia, Spain, next week. Nugent, a former British Universities Championship medal winner in the individual pursuit, will coordinate the squad at the event from July 12th - 19th. Brian has great experience of track cycling, having regularly competed at Manchester Velodrome in his university days.

The team for the championships consists of Ray Clarke (Keirin/Sprint), former world "B" championship medal winner, Peter Dunne (Sprint), Micheal Concannon (Pursuit), and Paul Healion (Pursuit). The team recently completed a weekend training camp at the manchester venue, in preparation for the Europeans.
