The Cycling Ulster team goes to race 4 of their 2017 programme, entering a competitive team into the prestigious
“8 Days in May” An Post Ras

The 2017 An Post Rás route was revealed at the GPO in Dublin on February 14th and will provide a very challenging test for the riders.
This year’s Rás covers 1,200 kilometres (750 miles) over eight stages with 21 categorised climbs, including two category one climbs, Mamore Gap and Glengesh Pass both on Co. Donegal.

The 2017 Rás is the 65th edition of the race. The racing gets underway on Sunday, May 21 from Dublin Castle, Dublin City, with stage finishes in Longford, Newport, Bundoran, Buncrana, Dungloe, Donegal, Ardee and finishing in Skerries.
