As you are probably aware, there is a clash with Navan Road Club’s hosting of the National Road series on the same day, so we have liaised with Navan RC and decided mutually that we will avoid hosting conflicting races. Hence we will not be hosting an A1 or A2 event this year and likewise Navan RD will not be hosting an A3 or A4 race. We encourage all relevant categories’ riders to attend the appropriate event in either Emyvale or Navan.

Emyvale CC’s racing begins at 10am with the A3/Junior race, followed at 3 minute intervals by the A4, Masters and Women’s races. The women’s race is a part of the Cycling Ulster Women’s League, but all women are welcome on the day.

The parcours is a lush rolling Ulster terrain suitable for all abilities of good smooth roads with a short sharp climb up Berrie’s Brae at the start and a steady curving climb to the finish at Ardgahy village. It has been used successfully several times previously by Emyvale CC and has been very well received by previous participants and their supporters. As always it will marshalled and adjudicated to the highest standards.
