The Cycling Ulster Road Commission are holding two upcoming coaching webinars on Saturday 6th February and Saturday 13th February.

The webinars have been organised by prominent local coach, Barry Monaghan from Newry.

Speaking following the announcement, Cycling Ulster Road Commission Chair, Frank Campbell said:

“The Cycling Ulster Road Commission would normally be holding our annual pre-season training event at this time of year but unfortunately this is not possible due to Covid-19.

“We have therefore arranged to substitute this event for coaching webinars over two Saturday’s in February. The first one will be for male categories while the second one will be for female categories. These will be suitable for junior level and above.

“The webinar will last for around an hour and will include input from Irish riders currently competing internationally.

“We are currently working on various plans for the year ahead including other coaching events and sending Ulster teams to compete in events when there is an opportunity to do so.”
