The NEW Cycling Ulster Crew/Logistics Vehicle coming soon to an event near you!
This is exciting news as Cycling Ulster continue to plan, prepare and ready ourselves for the future development of the sport of cycling. It was agreed after much consideration and discussion that the first of many steps would be a clearly visible image to help you the members see that we are serious about our intentions and the commitment we have to the sport.
The NEW Cycling Ulster vehicle will be going at the weekend by the Cycling Ulster Youth Academy to take 7 riders and bikes to the prestigious BCF “Youth Tour of Scotland”, following this to the International Tour of the North and the Ambergreen Tour of Ulster, The Cicle Sport and the Lincoln GP, The An Post Ras, as well as the Junior Tour of Ireland and the Junior Tour of Wales.
The Off-Road Teams will announce their plans soon and it is becoming very clear that the Van will be seen North and South Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales over the coming months….a great exposure for publicity and something that potential sponsors will see to get involved as we will be asking for Expressions of Interset for a CU Team Car to be part of our expanding livery.
The Cycling Ulster Logistics/Crew will raise our profile and public image in the country on a daily basis as it will be seen regularly on our roads. This NEW Cycling Ulster vehicle will be available by booking in the short term through the CU Assistant Secretary and Road Secretary Patrick Withers – pswithers@hotmail.com, this will be done using Google calendar. With our sport and its disciplines growing and the becoming more structured and accountable the Logistics/crew vehicle will be available for transport to events, promotional and advertising work or moving equipment to events this list of potential uses can go on and on.
