Cycling Ulster extend our best wishes to Claire Young who has recently being co-opted to the Cycling Ireland Board. Unfortunately, due to her co-option, Claire has had to step down from her position as Cycling Ulster Secretary.
Claire has worked tirelessly as a member of the Cycling Ulster Executive for several years, driving forward positive change in a number of areas including increasing female participation with the Women on Wheels programme, the development of cycling infrastructure such as the regional cycling hubs and been a strong advocate for more opportunities for volunteers to access training and coaching courses.
Claire will be a great asset to the Cycling Ireland Board and Cycling Ulster look forward to working together with her in her new role.
Paul Sanders will be replacing Claire as Secretary of Cycling Ulster. Paul joined the Cycling Ulster Executive in late 2021 and has an extensive background in governance and administration sporting bodies.
