Applications are now open for the latest round of Mary Peters Trust Awards. While there are separate rounds of application each year, individual sports are only granted one opportunity per year and Cycling Ulster will be enabling applications for this round in 2018.

Cycling Ulster’s Mark Moroney said:

“The Mary Peters Trust is the province’s leading sporting charity. It helps young people, both disabled and able bodied, achieve sporting dreams and ambitions. Over the last several years the trust has funded several young cyclists by providing grants that enable the athlete to buy kit, travel to competitions, pay for entrance to events, help with trip costs for warm weather training or provide other funds required to reach the next level.

“Full information on the Mary Peters trust along with an application form may be found on the Mary Peters Trust website.

“Applications for funding must first be sent to myself as Cycling Ulster Liaison Officer for the Mary Peters Trust.

Finally, please note that submission of an application is not a guarantee of funding.”

The hard copy document must be downloaded from  http://marypeterstrust.org/Apply-For-Funding.aspx and completed by the requester for funding, scanned, attached to an email and sent to Mark Moroney – jmarkmoroney@gmail.combefore 15th March.
