Cycling Ulster are saddened to learn of the passing of Adrian McDermott.
Adrian was a lifelong cyclist and was a regular competitor on the road racing and time-trial scene, representing Four Masters CC and VC Glendale with distinction. He was part of the Total Cycling sponsored VC Glendale team alongside international riders such as Tommy Evans and Brendan Doherty in the early 2000’s.
Adrian’s love of cycling also extended to his working life as he was the head mechanic at LK Bikes in Letterkenny where he enjoyed meeting fellow cyclists and chatting about all aspects of the sport.
Cycling Ulster extend our deepest condolences to his wife Deirdre, his children and his wider family and friends.
